I now adore #RachelScott of #ABC even more.

This is how every #Trump interview & debate should be conducted.

After he took his seat, #ABCNews’ Rachel Scott asked, “I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today.”

She cited numerous false claims Trump made about #Obama & #NikkiHaley, along w/other remarks attacking Black figures & people of color.

He attacked #ABCNews as “a fake news network” & “terrible.”

He called #RachelScott’s question a “very rude introduction. I don’t know exactly why you would do something like that.”

“My question is on those rioters who assaulted officers. Would you pardon those people?”

#Trump w/o hesitation: “Oh absolutely, I would.”

Trump repeated openness to pardon J6 insurgents:

“If they’re innocent, I would pardon them.”

Scott pointed out they were #convicted.

Crowd erupted into laughter.
