Every now and again, someone with very different priorities and cognition to me will discover a years-old Twitter thread of mine and go through it and reply to every post telling me how great their favorite rapacious multinational corporation is. It's hard to tell whether they're having an episode, or on someone's payroll, or what, but wow, is this ever weird-ass behavior.

Funny. I first quickly read the posts, didn't notice these are replies, and thought it was somebody having some kind of conversation with himself.

Then I read your post above it for more context and understood these are actual replies to your individual posts.

@pluralistic I think it's a form of narrow viewpoint. For instance with Amazon. They might pay for prime and order there regularly and think:

> "Actually I'm getting pretty good deal here. plus I get a ton of cool movies on Prime"

and they don't like anyone that would try to take that away from them. Some people can't handle criticism even if it's not of them but just of something they like.
