don't mind me, I'm over here celebrating and wondering how loops accomplished:

- 9k users in its first week (a fediverse record)
- multiple 3rd party clients within hours of the APK release
- tons of press coverage before anyone seen the app

There were some hiccups and I'm still working on the much anticipated 8th build, but we did it!

We made fediverse history together.

Loops is super simple atm, and it's important we get the basics right.

That being said, our R&D "department" has successfully implemented custom AR filters in the Camera (similar to Snapchat filters), and will support user contributed AR filters.

We are a few months away from this being available to users, it will likely launch on iOS first with a limited deployment while we address performance/bugs.

The goal is to be the best fedi video camera app, with powerful editing tools!

Loops.video will need mods, and I'm building a suite of mod tools.

I'm open to feedback, and will setup a form on the website for mod applications, I'm looking for trusted and established people that either already moderate or admin an instance.

The amount of work will depend on activity, and most of the reports I will handle depending on load, with you sometimes deciding on a user appeal, with the ability to veto my initial decision.

Mods will have more power than me, as they should!
