pol, uspol, voting, volunteering

I've seen folks talk about the importance of voting in the upcoming presidential elections, and how we need to prepare for either outcome, but I'd love to hear what people are doing *right now*, what is the best use of people's limited time and energy.

Hah, so yesterday I got a text from the Harris campaign, asking me if I'd be interested in volunteering.

I said I'd like to learn more, and the conversation went on for a bit. I asked if they do text banking instead of phone calls, or maybe some other data or web-related work I would feel more suited for and have some actual volunteering experience with.

Then I got a canned "thank you for your time" response and that was it.

Alrighty then.
