I wish there was a simple and nice open source blogging tool that works out of the box like micro.blog, compatible with Activity Pub and a very clean and intuitive UI to login and comment.

I think Writefreely was the closest to what I have in mind, but the open source version doesn't allow comments.

@Flipboard I discovered that #Flipboard can not follow #WordPress blogs in the #Fediverse.

I tried following several of mine & it did not work, then I tried to follow @pfefferle@mastodon.social blog (which is @pfefferle@notiz.blog) from the Flipboard app & it also did not work.

I encountered the same error when trying to follow #Ghost (on @index) & #MicroBlog (using @manton) too.

#WriteFreely works though! 😀😅 (thanks @matt‽).
