Mastodon compatible #polls in #WordPress? Coming soon 😊

This is a feature I was looking for myself and due to the amazing work of @pfefferle on the #ActivityPub plugin things like this are now possible to realize pretty straight forward. The hardest part for me is getting UI right.

This was a little side project, and I was challenging myself how fast I could get a prototype to work. But #Gutenberg and #React is something you do not get used to in an hour. I'll try to release the source soon.

Update. This got me thinking about other ways that #AI could thwart research projects.

When #LLM tools can answer digital #polls and #surveys, a huge number of #SocialScience projects will face the same kind of pollution problem. Some subjects will ask a tool to answer for them. Some will flood the research team with strategically slanted answers.
