Streetartwall. The unusual mural of a young woman was sprayed/painted on the outside wall of a seven-storey modern building. In the style of old masters, a young woman is depicted looking at the viewer between walls full of books. The color of her skin is surprising. Her face is blue, as is her dress, which can be seen on her shoulders. Her hair is wrapped in elegant scarves and her neck is also covered by a patterned scarf in shades of red and blue. She is also wearing an elegant earring with a large round stone. Her gaze is directed at the viewer. (The photo also shows the side view of the long skyscraper)
Info: Maria Tesselschade was a writer and artist from Alkmaar in the 16th century. She came from a family of writers with many talents and charisma. Unfortunately, there is no portrait of her, but she is said to have been a very attractive woman with charisma and wit. This mural is therefore a tribute to her.
