The 3 phases of enshittification according to Cory Doctorow (aka @pluralistic):
“Phase one: be good to users while locking them in.

Phase two: screw the users a little so you can be good to business customers while locking them in.

Phase three: screw everybody and take all the value for yourself. Leave behind the absolute bare minimum of utility so that everyone stays locked into your pile of shit.”
