#TIL that one (the?) german translation of @pluralistic "enshitification" is "Verschlimmscheißerung" and I approve.

I would have said "Verschlimmbesserung" - something that's is claimed or meant to be an improvement but in fact makes things worse. Perhaps someone combined that with "verscheissen" (to pull someone's leg / to “shit” someone).
