@pfefferle Thanks for the work you do on this. I run a Wordpress site and have rigged up a way to get posts tagged as “status” to appear on my Mastodon feed. Aside from this, what would you suggest would be the best or most impactful way to engage with activity pub via wordpress? Apologies for the n00b question, I’m just looking for basics/how to get started. Thanks again!
@Sjwillis The next thing I like to do, is to boost all of my blog posts with my mastodon account. This way all of my Mastodon followers will also see my posts and their interactions (replys, boost, likes, ...) with the boosted post, will still be federated back to my site.

And then I simply keep the conversation going, by replying to these comments either on my site or on mastodon.

I hope this is what you meant and helps a bit.

hey @Sjwillis 👋

I am not sure I know "be the best or most impactful way to engage", but I can tell you how I am doing things 😉

I recommend you to start building a "follow me" page on your blog and to use the "follow me on the fediverse" block there. This helps your site visitors to understand that it is possible to follow your blog and how they can do it.
