Just went and geolocated this picture for an after climate-disaster/before climate-disaster look on Google Maps. After the extreme rain events this is a picture from the El País newspaper showing a stretch of the V-30 that runs alongside the Turia river. The river is in full flood, very wide with brown turbulent water on the left. In the centre of the picture, the road is partially flooded and there are cars abandoned and debris overtop the road. If you hate protesters blocking roads in the name of taking immediate #ClimateAction, you’re going to really hate how Climate Change itself blocks roads.

A picture today from Valencia, Spain where they received 500mm of rain, a year’s worth, in one day on Tuesday. >95 dead.

At least 70 people have died in the region. More are missing and expected perished.

The government has announced 3 days of mourning.
