There are some new test reports, including system tests for:

* Running two Mastodon instances against each other
* Running Mastodon against WordPress + plugins

and even running three Mastodon instances against each other, for tests such as "if A posts, B reshares, and C gets it, and then A deletes the post, will it disappear on C" Happy to report that in case of Mastodon, it does!

I think that it is a super often shared #mastodon pro tip, but in light of @pluralistic recent plea for #rss i post this again:

You can get an RSS feed for any mastodon account by appending ".rss" to the URL.

My local public transit - @hochbahn - runs a mastodon account and also provides info about service disruptions there. So i just subscribe to that account, instead using apps like Telegram or Notify for it. No ads, no tracking.

One of the best arguments for RSS you'll ever find.

I was a heavy user of #GoogleReader until G pulled the plug. I haven't found an adequate replacement since then. And I've tried many.

I'm excited by the possibilities of #Mastodon as an RSS reader. If you want to follow a site with an RSS feed, you can follow it on Mastodon with @birb.

I follow dozens of RSS feeds on Mastodon & add new ones almost every day.

I'm trying to debug an ActivityPub plugin problem, and so far the only thing I've found is this in the access_logs:

Taking a second to really appreciate all that have made the #fediverse what it is here, and empowered the likes of #mastodon. Rarely do I go peek my head at the other sites, but when I do, I’m immediately inundated with ads or garbage shared posts. Here I’m grateful to have my little calm feed of planes, geeky tech, fish, and funnies. Thanks to ya’ll for making this a reality for me!
